Feed Notifier App Reviews
Cant access the current feed
You cant access the feed unless its updated. It should allow me to click and go to the feed even if its current.
Does exatctly what it dosent say. I tried to subscribe to multiple RSS feeds and they all said INVALD. Tried it with google reader and it worked fine. Get the app REEDER not this crap!
Does not work at all
All i get is a message "INVAILD path”. This RSS works geat on a PC but not on a MAC, unfortunately

News feed wonks rejoice
Fantastic way to keep on top of a few key news sources in real-time. Clean UI, lives in the menu bar, uses 10.8s Notification Center, works great.
Maybe its a bug but importing the OPML file that you can download from Google Reader doesnt work and when I manually tried to add the feeds that are working in Google Reader, 1 out 34 worked without an error. I would suggest retesting this.
I downloaded this and had it configured within a couple of minutes. You can easily export from Google Reader and then import into this app, which is much nicer than giving this app credentials to log into Google Reader on its own. This app is simple, easy to use, elegant, and feels like it was mean to be part of OS X to begin with.
Perfectly Simple
I love it, its a function that I wish Apple had just baked right into Mountain Lion.
A nice app for reading rss feeds rather than going to googlereader to check feeds - takes a (short while) to set up ie changing feed update to 5 mins from the default 2 (would be nice to do this all feeds from the preferencesbut apart from that an unintrustive rss reader that makes me use notification center - would be great to tweet/facebook rss feed directly from the centre too
Id Like MenuBar Applications… i use this app and its great! But its a notification application only… i mean you get notificated when a news come, but you dont have any Archive from them… So i Use Reader too...
I downloaded it from the AppStore because I have an .opml file with a lot of rss feeds out of Craigslist. Just imported the file and voila! is looking for my feeds every two minutes. That is what I need it for and so far is doing its job. Will see soon if new items show up on my screen as they are posted.
I am rather disappointed that the keyword filter system that is in the Windows version is absent from the OSX. All this really does is to cram your feeds into your notifications. Once the keyword filtering is implemented, I can’t give it more stars.
